Homemade Venison Pie

Our venison pies featured in the Local Food Hero 2007 competition. Gary Rhodes and Aldo Zilli loved the Venison & Wild Rabbit Pies, and the Venison with Red Wine Pies.

 

Our pies are made with local venison from Garsons Farm land and our own onions, carrots and parsnips. The venison and vegetables are cooked together with some of the venison on the bone to produce an excellent stock. This keeps the product completely natural and produces the very finest gravy.

 

Each of our pies serve 2 - 3 adults and is great value at just £4.99

We sell these posh pies ready for you to bake at home. Just brush the tops with egg wash or milk for a golden brown finish. Bake in a hot oven (180 or Gas mark 6) for 30 – 35 minutes.
